Who
we are

A 100% government-owned and controlled corporation under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation was established to regulate and centralise games of chance in the country, bringing order to an industry once marked by unlicensed operations. Its charter, consolidated under Presidential Decree 1869, entrusts the corporation with a duty that extends far beyond the gaming floor.

Today PAGCOR stands as the guidepost of the industry it leads, the Beacon: licensing and overseeing gaming operations while channelling its earnings into the government's socio-civic and national development programmes.
